Security is rude. There’s no bathrooms and again, security is rude and very unprofessional. Machine works when it wants to when purchasing a ticket which is a waste of money because you will either be late to work or an event and will have to figure something else out as for transportation. The tri rail sucks all around. I wish I could give zero stars but it won’t let me post without one… sooo… here’s one star.
Clean and easy to navigate (there are only 2 tracks so it’s easy to figure out if you need North or South bound)
There was a police officer there when I was there so it felt safe.
Today, July 30 at 3:30 pm I went to look for a passenger waiting for me behind the station. The security shift lord of this shift, left a place taking photos and telling me that this was a prohibited and restricted area and that I had to leave quickly if I was going to take out his weapon and I was going to make him leave. Then he said he was going to call Uber to tell them that I had knocked down a cone and passed the restricted area. They should supervise the communication of these people to other people and not believe that they have a uniform that could threaten and treat a woman badly.
They've done a wonderful job with the remodeling of the Pompano Trirail Stratton which is also the the SFRTA headquarters. There's a large parking garage and the ability to cross over pin the bridge...not having to go over the tracks anymore
I went there 3 times and I still can't get my discounted ticket. 1 st time I wasn't in the system told to call customer service. 2nd I was told they close at 4 pm. got there at 3:50 pm. I was told that he is about to close. There is nothing he can do maybe come before 3 pm. Ok. 3rd time I showed up at 12:52pm I was told system is down, call customer service or get it somewhere else. Now my question is how many times I have waste trying to get the monthly discount pass. All that should be able to be done online and cut all the back and forth.
For American standards it is good ....but compared to Europe and Asia we have a awful rail system.
Conveniently located. Good tamp access and the station is usually clean. Covered parking is limited. I wish the parking areas were clearly marked as Southbound and Northbound parking.
Great for taking trips up and down I95
